Last month I was contacted by award winning screenwriter Michael Donald about my plans to write a screenplay based on ‘Ideas Man’. Mike had managed to find a copy of my book at Waterstones and found it struck a chord with his own experiences as a passionate creative...

Mike has written loads of superb screenplays and his recent $30m epic thriller screenplay 'LOUISIANA BLOOD' has garnered huge press coverage and many awards in loads of competitions.

He called me up and we immediately hit it off. After meeting over noodles at Wagamama, we decided to collaborate on a sitcom he cleverly named “Pushing Jelly” - a reflection of how difficult it is to move an idea forwards.

Mike rang the next day to tell me he’d written half of the piece and that the rest was buzzing around his fertile brain – he’s pretty incredible... Suffice to say, we think the finished sitcom script is brilliant and even as we speak it is nestling on a CH4 commissioner’s desk awaiting an answer.
