HOW THE SHED 'EGO BANKNOTE' CAME TO BE...

The concept of money is fascinating! It's only worth what we all AGREE it's worth.

So I wondered whether it would be possible (and even legal) to produce and launch my own currency. I designed my notes to contain images from my life and called each one "ONE EGO".

I then found a special printing press and the right paper before making a limited edition run. I then placed the note on eBay ( now it's sold on my online SHOP), not knowing if it would sell...incredibly it did...

So because people pay real money for my currency, it now has a real world exchange rate, which is better than many 'real world' currencies, beating the Euro from the first day the EGO was sold...
